i realized tonight that i might have a slight infatuation with rubber boots. 

rain boots.

i can't get enough of them! my silver Tretorns are just my favorites and tonight while dreaming of rain boots and searching for some... i just found a bazillion rain boots that i want to buy! look at them!

i think these See by Chloe's MIGHT be my fave i found tonight. 

I AM DYING. they are thee CUTES!

OH GOODNESS. i might just have to get another pair of the SkerryTretorns.

i know they are crocs.. but come on. they are sort of attractive.

favorite break.

I can already tell this Christmas Break is going to be one i will always remember. Life is SO good.

The best things i did this week are:

Went to Temple Square. it's always a favorite, and everything is just so beautiful. Besides, i have awesome friends who make everything so fun. 

Went to the Chocolate with Jenny to enjoy some nice Spice Hot Chocolate.

went to a 10 Virgins musical program for Relief Society. SO AMAZING!

Had a Fondue party. toadally fun!

Today I watched Christmas Vacation with Emily and Katelyn. i laugh too hard.

and i have the funnest friends in my ward. Aubrey Hepworth is probably the funniest person i know! 

And Christmas is so soon! ay yi yi. i just really love this season! 

AND IT'S SNOWING!!!! I WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN!

Honestly, what is a holiday without deelish, fattening treats?

Although i just really am not the biggest fan of baking...i do love holiday treats. 

to name a few that i have been eating so far this season..

hazelnut piroulines (so convienient for a little treat)

Gingerbread Spice cookies

peppermint chocolate cupcake

brownies with white mint frosting. 

snowball cookies (so bland-yet scrumptious x2)

AND BEST EVER? HOT CHOCOLATE.

the flavors i have enjoyed are: caramel apple, peanut butter cup, raspberry, vanilla, and my favey faves. SPICE AND MINT TRUFFLE.

and christmas is in a week... so that means i will be having Cinnamon Cream Cheese rolls, sugar cookies, sweetart candy canes, and more hot chocolate.

i also have big plans to make this.

because i am done with finals

i did nothing today.

and it never felt so good.

sleeping, eating pretzels. gym (twice), dinner, and boy meets world. 

and today was TYLER's (todd) BIRTHDAY. my little brother is 16.

and i feel weird about that.

but in honor of his HB, Alexis insisted on singing our family's fave song.

i am done with my first semester of college.

AND I PASSED ALL MY FINALS.

last night my friend Trevor took me to the Muse and just saw a few local bands. so so so much FUN. 

i always love going to shows and seeing the talent of local people. 

just to name a few.. The Lovecapades, Bearcats, Jennifer Blosil, Patrick Meek, Taylor Olson, The Archers Apple, and of course Benton.

right now i am drowning myself in goood music. it's the only thing getting me through studying for finals.

what is your favorite childhood memory of Christmas?

TOO MANY. 

i think my most memorable thing about Christmas though, is Christmas EVE. 

1. we go to ihop for dinner. 

2. we read lotsa heart warming stories

3. we sing songs and play songs. (on occasion i might play the piano or flute.)

4. PJ'S.

5. Cookies and Milk. and cheese.

6. i always sleep on the floor in my bedroom. its tradish. and i listen to my mom and aunt in the guest bedroom wrapping presents. they think they are silent. and then them rolling all the presents out and to the upstairs. hahah

i just mostly love Christmas Eve. and waking up Christmas morn. SO GOOOOD!

and i love it when teachers are not even clear about what the final is on.

so here i am. not studying for my math final.. or any.

the only thing getting through this is knowing that if i don't pass these classes, next semester will = me not being in the culinary classes. TOADS not acceptable.

ok.. well. i am going to go now. this is like the only full day i have to study.

i understand it's kind of odd, but hear me out. 

BARBIE. 

i don't know what it is about it. but i would totally love to create some new Barbies! 

can you just imagine me being 3 foot nothing, making Barbies? 

HAHAHAHAHAHAH I AM CRYING WITH LAUGHTER THINKING ABOUT IT!

I think the Barbie i would create would be dedicated to me. Light red hair, no pink clothes-just cute ones with stripes, that included an apron, a cute dog named guster and a hot man! 

you can't deny that it would be slightly fun.

holiday blogging!

So, my lovely friend Audrey and I are doing a little christmasy blog thing. She gives me a topic, and give her one! So fun right? I'm so happy. So, the topic i was given is this:

what is your take on the building of a snowman?

ok. so i LUH making snowmen. and once finals are over, it better SNOW TONS. i'm talking like feeeet. because i just want to make snowmen. cutes ones. 

but for those of you who aren't so hip on the snowman building thing, here is what i use and do.

1) you will need mittens, scarves, booties, 1 long carrot, random twigs, large buttons, oreos (or coal). 

2) i am assuming you know how to make the snowman, so do it. and just decorate it so FUN. make it original. The funnest snowman i ever made had a square head, sunglasses and a six-pack. (johnny bravo?)

but i also saw one where the people used red kool-aid and made a snowman murder scene. TOADS FUNNY.

overall, i just think that making snowmen is the funnest. and when you are done, get friendly with some hot-chocolate. (mint, please!)
