moving on.

school has started, and it's totally time i become my regular blogger self.
much has changed since my last post. firstly, i moved out.
after 19 years and 9 months, i am NAWT living in highland anymore.
and i am pretty sure i am liking it. it's been slightly hard--but it's not that hard when i am living with Jennica.
yep--this lady is my roomie. who knew in second grade when we met we would be living together in college? nutstown. but i am seriously loving up on living with her.

also--i'm back in school. AHH. i was seriously crying when the first day rolled around. not a happy camper.
but now i'm back in it, and loving it. my cooking class is Garde Manger which is like cold foods. we do lots of salads, sandwiches, and fruit carving! plus, my Chef's name is Franz--and he is just the cutest man i have had the privilege of meeting. that austrian accent kills me.

and in provo-there is always something to do i feel like. almost a little overwhelming! pool party's at raintree,   j-dawgs, yogurtland. you name it.
on saturday jenn, morgan and i hit up Guru's and guess what night it was? KARAOKE NIGHT.
i'm not even kidding. i always say that if i could find  a place to do karaoke--i'd do it.
so obvy i did.
i was second up and of course i sang BSB. as long as you love me.
it was like a dream come true. i HAVE to go more oft.
we also went to the LatinoFestival
horchata, grilled mango on a stick, mariachi bands, and spanish speaking people ERRYWHERE.
then we went to comedy sportz. always always ALWAYS a hoot.

overall-- my time in provo has been swell.
and i can only imagine it's going to get better.
that's all.

words.

“I’ve got two daughters who will have to make their way in this skinny-obsessed world, and it worries me, because I don’t want them to be empty-headed, self-obsessed, emaciated clones; I’d rather they were independent, interesting, idealistic, kind, opinionated, original, funny - a thousand things, before ‘thin’. And frankly, I’d rather they didn’t give a gust of stinking chihuahua flatulence whether the woman standing next to them has fleshier knees than they do. Let my girls be Hermiones, rather than Pansy Parkinsons. Let them never be Stupid Girls.” – J.K. Rowling
