My lastest inspiration.

So recently I discovered this new blogger. Her name is Stephanie. Back in August of 2008 she and her husband were in an almost fatal plance crash that burned more the 80% of her body.  She now has a blog that she updates about the stuggles she faces but more importantly, all the happy things she enjoys. Her outlook on life dispite her condition and problems is so amazing. Besides, she is adoreable. I want to meet her. She just lives in provo! Take a look at the blog here: http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/

Before the accident.

after the accident. and these are just some of the burns.
she is as cute as a button.
She has so much she could complain about.
But doesn't do it as often as she could.
How would to respond if you were in her position?

Sunday night goodies.

Tonight, Tyler and I made dessert.
White Chocolate Strawberries with Citrus Sugar.
The final product turned out delicous.

Those are the days i will never forget.

So, thanks to my brother, Tyler I have been having flashbacks of my childhood. I loved the 90's. It all started when he said, do you remember that one song you used to always listen to? I totally knew what he was talking about.
 It Happens Everytime- By: Dreamstreet.
Oh my goodness. It just brought back a pelethora of memories. I will share a few highlights from my childhood.
MUSIC: Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, Dreamstreet, Hanson and an occasional Britney Spears.
TYLER AND I CRIED OVER THIS MUSIC VIDEO.

I wore skorts. . . and felt stylish.
Saturday cartoons used to be worth getting up for.
Loved the ponytail on the side of my head. Fluff bangs included :)
I got super excited when it was the day to play Oregan Trail in school.
Walkmans.
All of my school supplies were Lisa Frank.
I know the macarena by heart.
I love the saying, "How Rude!"
I was made to wear leggins with straps on the bottoms. AKA stir-ups.
Stick on earrings. Not only for ears, but for the side of my eyes.
JELLY SANDALS!!

I just really miss those days. I wonder what will make this decade stand out... i feel nothing will. But, only time will tell!!

Saint Pats Day.

So in discussion with my parents yesterday I proposed the question. "Am I Irish?" I always just wondered and kind of had some expectation that I was irish because of my red hair or something. But I am not. I was a little disappointed at first... but I found out I am Scandanavian and German, which is so much cooler.
So what I have to say about St. Patricks Day...
Stop pinching me because I don't wear green.
I don't believe in leprechans.
But, I will gladly accept a 4 leaf clover sugar cookie.
I love the beautiful weather. I went on a sensational bike ride today. I loved it so much.
Hooray for spring!
Best of luck ;)

Bonne Semaine.

Ok, I know in my last post I talked about how i just had a wonderful day. BUT THIS WHOLE WEEK WAS JUST GREAT (sunday included.)
I just feel so good about how things are going in life. I am kind of stressed out but it's ok because all the happy things totally cancel them out the bad.
On friday I had the wonderful privelage of attending Highland Elementary's 5th grade market day. SO FUN. I sure do miss those days! I bought some headband, and ice cream and involuntarily got my hair spray painted GREEN AND ORANGE. It was absolutley wretched and I am just happy it washed out nicely.

Today was especially wonderful.
I love love loved church. It was ward conference today and the stake really just had a way of capturing the spirit today. As my stake president was speaking during sacrament I was asked personally to come up and bare my testimony. In the middle of his talk. It was quite nerve racking, but I enjoyed it so much and I pretty much didn't stop crying the rest of the meeting. It was exactly what I needed right now, and just what I had asked for to happen.

Then tonight, I had the wonderful pleasure of watching the Lizzie McGuire movie with my mother and BROTHER. The end scene when she (Lizzie) is singing in the international music award show is the best and I was fortunate enough to have my brother dance along to it with me. It was also fortunate that before we started dancing I was recording a video and I accidently didn't push STOP. AND I ENDED UP RECORDING THE ENTIRE THING. So funny. I would post, but I need to find a way to clip some parts out.
Anyways, thats all for now. I need to write in my journal then go to bed. I will be arising at like 6:30. Night peeps.

HAR HAR.
PEE-ES. cHEck out the eclipse official movie trailer. 100% awesome

Loverly Day.

I must say that today has just been so great to me.
As most Thursdays go, I went here. I wouldn't wake up at 4:20 am if I was going anywhere else besides the temple.
I did this and I feel so good. (and boarderline sore.)
I had some time for journal writing.

I read some of this and I am liking it.
I made some of this. I tried a new vinegarette. SO YUMMY.

And tonight I watched the new episode of this show. It was fantastic.

I just really enjoyed my day today. Even though I am have never been so sure that I have failed a math test. But I am ok with that. Senioritis is kicking in. Can't wait for college. I am convinced my that my life is good, even though I sometimes forget.

March On.

I really just can not believe that March is here!
I just feel like February was just a little bit bleek, and i am ready to enjoy this month. No drama (prettty please). Just living for me, and whats important.
I am so tired of letting the moods of others effect me. I can only do so much and its not worth letting the attitudes of others effect me.
Soo.. I have made a list of the great and important things i am going to work on being better at this month.
  1. {Try to keep my room clean.} I know this is nearly impossible, but even if i just try to tidy it up everyday and only have partial messes.
  2. {Read at least 3 books.} This is difficult because i don't have time. But i have so many books i must read. This is necessary. I just need to get 1984 out of the way...
  3. {Read my scriptures more.} Sometimes i just forget the lessons and counsel it gives me.
  4. {Time Management.} Stop being lazy in the limited time i have to do nothing. Finalize college stufff.f
  5. {Learn a new skill.} Might be nerdy, but want to learn how to do cool stuff on a computer. Like graphic design. We'll see.
Let us make this month cool.
