Good Times.

Soo... Jennica and I are really feeling the romantic/chick flick movies as of late. On tuesday night we watched A Walk To Remember. I cried. It's such a great movie. Everything about it is so happy.

annnd last night Jenn, Jessica and I watched Pride and Prejudice, the one with Kiera Knightly and  Matthew Macfadyen. Let me just tell you that these movies get me so excited. I love it :) This is just ONE of my favorite scenes from the movie.

And now we want to watch another good movie... but we are not very sure on what to watch.
What is your favorite chick flick?

I never said:

(belated.) MERRY CHRISTMAS.
It has been such a joyous week! Filled with Family, Games, and Laughter.
I wouldn't dare ask for a better time.
How was your Christmas?
Mine was just lovely. I had my sweet Auntie Anna and Grandmother Conrad here at the home to spend time with. On Christmas Eve we stuck with our tradition of going to international house of pancakes (iHop.) for dinner. We do this because when my sweet Great Grandma Anderson was still here on earth, every Christmas morning she would get up REALLY early and make breakfast for ANYBODY in the family who want to come over. It was the bestest thing. So when she passed away my family wanted to somehow honor her by keeping this tradition remembered. After iHop we went home and got ready for Santa to come! Alexis and I baked sugar cookies and frosted and decorated them. They were so delishh. Tyler set up the train around the Christmas tree. Twas' a great time had by all. Then we got Santa's plate ready with some sugar cookies, oreos (who doesn't love oreos? honestly.) and CHEESE. (its the only way you get the good presents. i promise.) Then off to bed.

Christmas morning came at 7:30 when mommy woke me up. For Christmas I recieved books, kitchen supplies, rain boots, a leather journal and other fun fun items. Alexis got a robe and origami calandar, just like she wanted. She was also suprised with a Nintendo DS. (this way, Dad's iPhone can have a little more battery life :) ) ANNNNDD... Tyler got a bunch of golf gadgets and an iPod TOUCH. He think he was pleased.
Us kids also got Rock Band. SO FUN. I really am enjoying it... and am now trying to master medium, so i can do HARD on the guitar! haha
The holiday's really bring the family close together and i am so greatful for MY FAMILY and the smiles the bring to my life daily.

You've Got a Friend in Me. aLways have.

lately i have really had the value of friendship on my mind.
cerish those who you love.
your best friends.
i sure do.
you never ever realize the influence you can have on a person, and i am glad that i have been shown how my choices in life have effected another.
i have also noticed how important it is for a person to choose loyal, and honest friends. Not just someone they are trying to impress. Doing that only brings out the worst in a person and can hurt other people.
i know.
it hurts a whole bunch.
just a thought.

Done. Done. and Done-r?

I'm back. I love to blog.
Wohhaa.. I am here to stay! This week all I basically did was do homeowrk and study for the ACT. (icky x5673) Yesterday was fun from 12:00 pm on.. After i took the ACT Jennica, Emily, and I went to Pirate Island for lunch! I had never been there before, and let me tell you.. I LOVED IT. I want to go back so bad and dress as a pirate! Our waiter had a cool pirate/british accent and they have a sweet arcade. It is just an overall really fun environment. Also, last night Taylor Lautner was on Saturday Night Live. Holy Hilarity/HAWTNESS.

Cool hats, Huh? And Jenn did win that eye patch.

Look how cute my family is! We took this picture THIS WEEK! woOO!
OhHHhh.. and PS. we got our Christmas tree this week! And now our home smells of lovely pine. <3

Love this.

I am not thrilled right now...

Sad Story: There once was a dragon named ACT. He was very mean and made people feel bad about themselves. So many people would fight him. Some would win. Some would lose. Anyways, there was also a girl in this terrible story. She fought so hard against him and his rediculous tests, and she continued to fail EVERYTIME. Well, this girl was very determined to defeat this dragon. So determined she made a pact with a mate of hers to study her little heart out all week and not waste time doing other things. This means the girl could not blog until after noon on December the 12th. (or be on facebook, but who cares about that anyways, right?) This girl was very distraught about the no blogging thing. She just had to say goobye.
GOODBYE FRIENDS. If this is not worth it... so help me... i will sue someone. Have a happy week. I probably won't.

If you didn't follow. BASICALLY. I need to study for the ACT coming up this Saturday. I will not be on Facebook or be Blogging all week. :( weeesh me luck. i really need it this time.
XXXXOOOOOOXXXXXOOOOOOO (extra for lost time)

tis the season...

Lady's and Gent's. It's December. Christmas is just around the corner :) can't you just feel it? I sure can. Especially when...
I get home and there is nativity scences up next to all the decorations.
I can smell the sweet nectar of pine
Instead of doing homework I make paper snowflakes.
I am actually kind of wanting it to snow. (so unlike me)
I drive home from work at night and see houses lit up with beautiful Christmas lights.
I get home and there is egg nog sitting in the fridge screaming my name (seriously. it does that).
I sit in my bed with snowflake pj's listening to David Archuleta singing some of my favorite Christmas songs (purchase on itunes. its so worth it:))

I am so looking forward to Christmas this year. Especially because it could potentially be my last Christmas living at home. (eep!) There is just something about this season that brings a natural smile to everyones face that remind me of the importance of what this holiday is truly about. Happy Holiday's Friends.

just a lil thoughT

so i have been sick. not sure with what. maybe h1N1? i don't really know. i feel quite awful though. but tonight something happened that taught me a great lesson on giving and not judging people. So, tonight at work a homeless lady came in with all her luggage and bags and ordered food. After she was done eating she just left all her stuff in the building and was kind of wandering around outside. My first instinct was that she is just a creepy old lady. I didn't take into concideration that she has no home. no money. and probably no loving family. But someone called the police about her, and I am assuming they just told her she needed to leave. During this time there was a family ordering some desserts and the father of this family went outside and was talking to the homeless lady and told her to come in and her bought her a drink. That mans simple act of kindness really touched my heart. I then felt so bad for judging the woman. I felt like the bad guy. Who cares if she was a little strange? I learned tonight not to but a label on people you don't even know. I think this is very important to everyone. Especially during this holiday season, look for opportunities to give. Even the littlest things mean the most. Spread joy and be greatful for everything you have!
