i'm here.

right now i am currently sitting in my little window nook at the UVU library. loving it. just waiting an hour and fifteen for math to start. i already had english this morning.

i reallly like by schedule. tuesday, thursday and friday i only have school until 10:50!  Monday and Wednesday I only classes until 3:20 but i like it because i can get all my homework done while i am at school during my free time!

College won't be too bad i think.. maybe even enjoyable.

The only thing i really hate right now is driving to orem errday.

OH MY. A MAN JUST WALKED PAST ME IN A KILT, LONGGGG PONYTAIL, GREY TIGHTS, AND A FLOWY GREEN BLOUSE. love it. oh and in my math class this guy sat next to me and he had an ankle bracelet on. you know, like the ones you get from being in jail and stuff. AH.

today was probably one of the most boring days of my life. great way to end summer.(jokes on me.) i wanted to make neon green velvet cupcakes, but was too lazy to go buy buttermilk. i guess just overall, i was SO LAZY.

and sadly, the family garden hasn't produced as much this year.  but i was able to cook up with garlic and Parmesan cheese flavored yellow squash and zucchini.

sooo tastefully spectacular. went along great with the chicken and corn on the cob.

32 hours.

hey guys and ladies.

i start college in 32 hours.-totally dead serious. i am having so many mixed emotions right now that i am basically A WRECK. It really hit me today when i woke up that school is starting. I almost started crying, (i think i should just tell you, i cry alll the time. thank you Chris Ivie for that one.)  i basically feel: anxious, scared out my mind, annoyed, excited, and stressed about it. Quite honestly, it's making me want to vomit.

Today Brandee and I went and found all our classes and i just felt overwhelmed again. HOW AND WHY DID I GROW UP. COLLEGE? it's going to take a solid 2 weeks (at least) to sink in.

enough of my complaining.

but next time you hear from me, i will already have been to 2 classes. english and math. gross huh? ya.

i think i will cook something tomorrow. sounds good. especially because i have no cooking classes this semester. F.U.R.I.O.U.S.

and i can't seem to get this song out of my head. i love it too much and could not be more furious that i have to work the night of their concert thursday.

oHY. VEY. Tanner is ONE NINE. NINETEEN. 10+9 YEARS OF AGE!

and in honor of this day. last night as best friends forever-- Tanner, me, shelle, em, brand and jenn celebrated. starting the park eating Cafe Rio. and reading old and HILARIO "What If's..." and making some new what ifs...

(this would be all our WHAT IF slips. saved up. and stored. for memories.)

then we went to Tann's house. and ate a delish-us birthday cake that Rachelle made from scratch. chocolate. on chocolate. with chocolate shavings.

                                 

then we talked and shared happiness.

Tanner was playing Disney songs and we found out Emily is THE WORST at knowing her Disney tunes. ANd there was word that the song, At the Beginning from Anastasia should be our friend song because it's thee best.

can't believe you leave so soon, for 2 years. i am super proud :) haha

and may we celebrate when year 22 rolls around. (what the WEIRD.) (wait, crap. i'll be on a mission.)

Sir. Benton. Paul.

As you may or may not know. I love Benton Paul.

and tonight was his concert. and it was theee best.

Starting with Jenn Blosil. Sweet little lady from Orem was opening and she is just amazing. I highly recommend you checking her out. she has a myspace, but when she is live singing her own songs it's like love. i was totally blown away.

 

then Benton. oh, Benton. All i can really say is that he was everything I ever hoped he would be.

he played a magnificent show. and was adorable.

(my apologies. its sideways for a wee bit.)

and after his show. he came back out for a little acoustic encore. and sat on the edge of the stage right in front of emily and i. (jenn slipped out... :[ )

and after that. we went outside and met him! He was super super nice, genuine and cutes. He recognized us from being up front, signed some things and just talked to us. can't wait to see him again.

Cabin of Wonders.

Sunday and Monday I had the glorious privilage of taking a quickie trip to Jennica's cabin in Heber.

I have been going there for years. it's the best. and we were able to go with lots of friends! Everyone in tow was Me, Jennica, Rachelle, Emily, Brandee and Brittany. and we had some splendid times.

STARTING in the car. singing Dreamstreet, N*Sync, & JoJo. And Shelle making her starburst teeth.

playing a bajillion and one games of Nertz. (i won.don't worry.)

Us after EVERY meal. even breakfast we always had to take a nap.

Riding 4-Wheelers for HOURS. AND HOURS. We just smelt soo good.

playing the best game EVER, Heart.Throb. this is Trevor, by BF.

sleeping in the blazing hot Loft. Everyone except Brand and Em were acting super weird. But they were awake at 2am to witness:

   Jennica waking up and demanding Brandee to get her "thing" downstairs because "it just...it just kind of feels, you know like when your mom gets out of the shower."

   Then Brittany moaning allll night.

  As for me... apparently i got mad at Brandee for rubbing my back, and i sat up and asked Brandee what time it was and demanded to know how she knew it was two.

nobody remembers this really.... it was SO odd.

Snacking on Bean Doozled Jelly Belly's. I got them in California. The flavors of Jelly Belly that were tried were...Pencil Shavings, Baby Wipe, Centipede, Moldy Cheese, Booger, Barf (see video under.), Toothpaste, Canned Dog Food and NOBODY would even touch Rotton Egg. It was crazy that some of them were creepily accurate to their flavor.

we played with horses. SPECIAL horses. gross horses. nothing we had EVER EVER EVER seen before. bleehehhhh.

and had much fun on top of the loop.

YIPEE.

Can i just say that I used to love the dentist... i just loved going and getting clean teeth and having no cavities.

THEN about 1 year ago I went and I recieved word that I had 2 cavities.

WHAT ON EARTH?!

Needless to say, I was furious.

Then i went back 6 months later and recieved word that I had another 2 cavities.

I almost started screaming. He said that I wasn't FLOSSING enough.

EXCUSE ME. SORRY I FLOSS EVERY DAY UNLIKE 89% OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW WHO ARE NOT GETTING CAVITIES.

This is when I decided I hated the dentist.

Then today. I woke up for another check up. Dr. M told me "Lindsay, great job! No cavities!"

I ALMOST CRIED. NOT EVEN KIDDING. HAPPIEST DAY EVER.

I LOVE THE DENTIST AGAIN!!

oh. and i have a new friend. her name is Aria. i love her.

i'm backkkkk.

after being on family vacation for the past 8 days, it feel grand to be home.

but i had SO MUCH FUN. i just love my family.

after San Fransisco we headed down to Monterey--it was super lovely. I just love looking out on the ocean. love looking at all the boats. and there were were like hundreds of Sea Lions! There has not been that many in like 10 years! Also, we went to the famous Monterey Aquarium. WOW. I just really love sealife. There are so many things that you never see, or hear about. One of my favorites was this crab and it looked like it had a bunch of thorns.

and of course we went to disney! we had a 5 day pass! Everytime i go to Disneyland i just fall even more in LOVE then i did the time before when i was there.

It's TRULY the happiest place on earth. For me at least.

This year, what did it for me was the new show, World of Color. It's a light and water show.

I can not even begin to describe how incredible the show was. Literally, I was standing there, and i had goosebumps and at one point there were tears in my eyes.

They also had a new ride. MIDWAY MANIA. It's a Toy Story 4D ride. I LOVE IT! I didn't think it could get better than Astro Blasters-- and it does.

And my poor sister--hahahaha we made her go on like every ride. She came off Tower of Terror and Thunder Mountain in TEARS. She hated them. She also didn't enjoy Indiana Jones or Splash Mountain at first, but warmed up to it. Oddly enough though, Matterhorn was like her favorite.

Oh, and no biggie. I just got a picture with Mary Poppins and Bert. Don't be too jealous. I was only freaking out a little. Disneyland is just the best. Even though, i will say that i am not sure if i will be going in July/August again. 60 minutes of standing in line is not my cup of tea.
