mostest wonderful times.

Thanksgiving. Never let's me down. Thats why i love it so much. It was such a good day spent with my 2 loves. family & food!

but NOW. Christmas is a month away!!

and nothing got me more in the holiday mood than dancing around in my pj's to the best Christmas playlist on the block. and putting up the decorations! I LOVE THIS SEASON!

the happiness makes it OK for there to be snow & for me to have the worlds dryest skin due to coldness.

today i was able to play with cousins and their babies.

and i'm just going to say for one second: MY COUSINS HAVE THE CUTEST CHILDREN. i find myself being jealous at times and hoping, praying for kids as cute as theirs one day. Jayden, Noelle, Ellie, and Braelyn. i loveee you.

and i made more pasta. spinach pasta with a garlic bechemel sauce.

i'm obsessed i know.

2 hours until Thanksgiving.

and after being lazy today, recovering from the great blizzard of the century, watching 6 episodes of Cake Boss, cleaning my room, and doing a lil homework-- Thanksgiving Day couldn't be coming at a better time.

today i am thankful for the U.S.A.

and for all the soldiers who fight for our freedom daily. 

i am so privileged to live in this country and for my not to show my gratitude is just selfish. everyday people put their own life on the line and even leave their families to fight for freedom. thank you.

i went on a shopping extravaganza at Bed, Bath and Beyond today.

i got a food processor, slipat, and a pasta maker.

so naturally, i had to make homemade pasta noodles for lunch.

and today i am thankful for: fam fam family. 

they truly are my rock. they couldn't be funnier, weirder, or more perfect.

Today i am grateful for school. 

i complain about it.. more than i should. but i DO love it. going to college has really made me appreciate getting an education. i know it's the right thing to do! i love learning.

Thanksgiving is almost here. i am TOTES. excited. it's my fave holiday! 

so in honor, i am going to feature one thing i am thankful for everyday this week! 

Thanksgiving and Blogging (what could be better?!)

Today i am especially grateful for my knowledge of the gospel.

I love the blessings i receive everyday because of it!

I know The Book of Mormon is true.

Living in a way my Savior would want me to has blessed me so much and i wouldn't want to live my life any other way :)

I am also thankful for it's ability for people to change. more than ever.

side note: can i just say how great this day was? 1)i am so grateful for the people who surround me. family and new and old friends wow. 2) i taught my first relief society lesson ever. and it wasn't TERRIBLE. (totes room for improvement though :D) 3) i received a text from somebody who wronged me in high school. total apology. completely shocked me and made my day. 4) no homework & a three hour nap is blisssss.

Harry Potter 7:Part ONE. was incredible.

and i can't wait for part 2. 

Our Harry Potter Party was pretty awesome too!! so many people dressed up. I was Molly Weasley. and I thought my outfit was pretty great:) there was also Lucius Malfoy, Luna Lovegood, Sybill Trelawney, Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Mad-Eye Moody, Cho, Hermione, Delores Umbridge, Bellatrix, and Tonks. It was so fun to have everyone all dressed and celebrating Harry Potter.

AND can i just say that we had some pretty great food. Cauldron Cakes, Licorace Wands, Cockroach Clusters, Pumpkin Pasties, Chocolate Frogs (totes the best), Petrified Pumpkin Bread, and the Crutiatus Cheeseball.

Ron was super great in the movie. He is like.. a MAN. Oh man. I was dying. I love him.

True Story: My Birthday was on Tuesday. 

i'm totes 19.

that sounds old.

but is even more freaky.. I will be 20 in a year.

in two years i could be leaving for a mission.

but i did have a swell birthday. 

LOTS of happy birthdays. (very much appeciated)

FOB(fall out boy) called.

i only had one class. the other was canceled :)

my math class sang to me...(o.EM.gee.)

and spent time with the best friends. 

we went to Glorias Little Italy. And played Whoonu. taped our faces.

i tried nutella. FIRST TIME EVA.

 Friday was my dearest Emily's day of birth. 18.

can't believe it. she is just my bestest friend and love her dearly.

In celebration of November 12 we did the following:

-lunched on Chicken Tortilla Soup. Naturally it was deelish.

-Shelle, Jenn, Em, and I went up to Daybreak to see a craft show.

First of all, Daybreak is BEAUTIFUL. 2) the Craft show was THEE cutes. we got so excited about cute earrings, children clothes (x10), baby shoes, cake stands, shirts with owls & alligators sporting mustaches, frames, paintings, hanging paper hearts, the BEST smelling cinnamon rolls, tutus etc etc. 3:  coconut gelato is wonderful.

-went to cpK for dinner. garlic chicken pizza besszzt. 

-and my fave part: KARAOKE AT THE GRANDPARENTS. SO FUN. I am not even kidding. I don't remember the last time i was that hyper/had so much fun. I belted my little heart and voice out to Backstreet Boys, Shania Twain, Hannah Montana, Dixie Chicks, Mariah Carey, and other greatness. iT really was the best celebration of times.

Happy birth emily. i'm so glad we have been friends for 11 years:) i'm truly the luckiest of all.

OH EM GEE GUYS.
there are SO. SOOO many things i would rather be doing with my life. 
NOT factoring rational equations. or adding them. or subtracting them. OR EVEN DIVIDING THEM!
this chapter in Math is the biggest JOKE! I  have spent too much time doing my home work. (one day i was doing it for 3 hours.)
AND ON TOP OF THAT MATH. It's not like I care if Rosita wants to make 4 ounce tortillas into 5 ounces and scaling the entire recipe and converting it to the metric system and centimeters. 
Culinary Math is so much harder than i thought. but i am getter better at it. 
|I DARE YOU--| to challenge me in a duel of knowing more equivalents. (128 fl.oz in a gallon.)
LIKE SERIOUSLY! MY MIND IS EXPLODING WITH MATH! iT physically hurts.

while sitting in the library for 3 hours. doing MATH.

so to make it feel better i looked at clothes that that are FAR out of my budget. but i fell in love with this.

-HAIRY POTT IN 8 DAYS.
-My VT companion got her mission call.. TAIWAN. Isn't that the coolest? Ahhh i just wish i was 21 right now and could go. Anyways.. love you Danielle, you are going to be the bestest out there!

BUT TODAY WAS SUCH A GOOD DAY. i can't help myself.


first of all... while i have been doing my homework the only song i want to listen to is this...


AND i went to thee fireside wif  Brother (Apostle) Ballard. Berry Berry special indeed.
Then went to a ward gathering. good times.
then started reading the Book of Mormon from the beginning. 
Read some HP.
ate mass amounts of chocolate... not very common for me.
made a few new friends. 
did a decent amount of homework. 
WOW. good day eh?

Church.

Lately I just have not been in a good mood.

I'm just really sad and disappointed in a lot of things that have been happening.

and i actually reached my breaking point this weekend. 

but then, today i went to church. and i was reaffirmed of the love my Savior has for me. 

There IS a reason why I am going through everything. And I know, without a doubt my trials are bringing me closer to him.

Because i know i can't do anything without my Savior. 

The gospel makes me so overwhelmingly happy. 

Like right now, I am SO happy. You would have never guessed that 12 hours ago I cried myself to sleep.

I LOVE God.

 I love Jesus Christ.

 I love the Book of Mormon.

 And of course, I love my family. 

lots and lots of love.

i'm just the luckiest i guess.

novembre.

November is by far my favorite month of the whole year. 

November just sounds like Autumn  to me.

It's also the month i was born in :) 

The month of my most favorite holiday. thanksgiving!!

and to top it all off. Harry Potter comes out this month. 

what is this madness?? i just love November. embrace it.
