To celebrate Brandee and I went to lunch. i feel like we have not been in FOREVER.

 even though we see each other everyday.

 So, we went over to Gloria's Little Italy.

I talk about this place ALL the time. I went once, and fell in love.

It was just as good as the time i went there before. I highly recommend half Leonardo Sandwich and the Gnocchi with 5 Formaggi sauce. (and say it with an italian accent. my waiter did.)

and if anyone knows any great formaggi sauce recipes, lemme know. i can't find any that look up to my standards.

and can we just talk about there desserts for 5 seconds?!? THEY LOOKED INSANELY GOOD. and i am not even a big dessert/sweets person. If i hadn't ate so much, i would have got like 4. The Vulcano and Strawberry Carriage or even a Canoli would have done the part.

UVU. (you-bee-u) is doing goodish.

I started 2 new classes this week. Culinary Math and Professional Dining Services. 

and took my state exam for Sanitation!

i'm really excited because i just downloaded a great APP on my phone. 

girl in my English class who doesn't wear a bra... i would watch out if i were you.

CREEP in my math class is SUCH A CREEP. This week he pulled out some "math pick up lines" and said them TO ME in front of the WHOLE CLASS.

 NO i don't want to foil with you. AND you + me ≠love.

and he is creepin on Brandee now. ugh.

and then Mr. Hawtie in my institute class. (i know his name, it's just a privacy thing)

kills me every monday and wednesday.

well.. imma go. off to work in 2.5 hours. YAY. NAHT.

next weekend is halloween THYME. can't wait.

Letters to the ROAD.

I HAVE KEPT MY SILENCE ON THIS MATTER TOO LONG.

i am telling you. i just can not win. just about EVERY SINGLE ROAD I DRIVE ON IS being worked on!!!! Highland is a DIZASTER.
the freeway is a whole other story.
the crap by lone peak can go.

IT TOOK ME 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES THE OTHER DAY TO GET TO OREM UTAH FOR SCHOOL! UNHEARD OF!
CONSTRUCTION MAKES ME WANT TO: 
1) RIP MY HAIR OUT 
2) THROW A TANTRUM LIKE A BABY 
3) PURCHASE SOME SORT OF GUN AND SHOOT THE TIRES OF STUPID DRIVERS THAT ONLY MAKE THE COMMUTE WORSE. But that would just cause more time, so i won't. 
4) KILL UTAH. If i could-- i would move anywhere until it's all done. I ALMOST started crying when my Dad told me the whole freeway project was a 3 year deal.


and today when i tried to take a way to escape construction/traffic. OF COURSE a Train is coming through town and causes me to sit in my car until is passes for 7 minutes approx. such a joke. i wish i could fly more than ever.

i just received my acceptance letter for the Culinary Program. 

i am going to Culinary School. 

i have waited YEARS for this moment.

I AM SO EXCITED.

well.. THIS WEEK WAS INSANE!

I HAD INSANE LOOOAAAADDDDSSS of HoMework. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and I did a grand total of 19 HOURS OF STUDYING/HOMEWORK. are you feeling ill right now? i know. its g-ross. but i made it through it all. AND i have no idea how. 5 hours of sleep in two days. i hardly remember those days of my life. they are gone. 

BuTTTT i took my first college FINAL! (its for my first block class that is only half of a semest.)

i did WONDERFUL! i am so proud! i am a professional at my sanitation facts. But the real test will come Monday when i take my state exam. wish me luck!

THEN-- on thursday and friday i enjoyed me some FaLL Break.

I can't even begin to express how much i needed it.

Thursday i did NOTHING. AT ALL. 

Friday I spent the night at Emily's grandparents house the night before so i kind of just played at their house and around Provo before having to work. After work, Jennica and i watched A Walk to Remember. our FAVE.

THEN TODAY! FORK FEST! it was marvelous!

a bunch (37) of local bands came out and played FOR FREE. all day. 

I saw The Archers Apple, The Fictionist, JENN BLOSIL (I LOVE HER!!!!!), and best for last-- JOSHUA JAMES! oh man. i just get so giddy inside thinking about him. he was the one i was most excited for and he was AMAZING. mY fave was the encore of Coal War. He gets so into his music, and it's beautiful to see that passion. It's TRUE music. 

 

but i think thats just about everything i did this week. oh. how could i forget?! I PURCHASED MY FIRST BOX OF COUNT CHOCULA!! It's an October tradish. and one of the ONLY sugar cereals i will eat. we are in a relationship right now. and i couldn't be more happy:)

haha-- well Emily and I woke up early and made Pumpkin Scones with a spiced frosting. then ate them with Jennz. They we AMAZE.ING. and I am not even a true pumpkin lover!  but i soo want to make them again!

after the movie we went to Thanksgiving Point and purchased candy and admired the adorable Halloween merchandise.

then after fresh peach ice cream, mint brownies and telephone pictionary... we went to comedy sportz.

too good. Yes, Reynolds was there. and we laughed SO HARD. 

it was such a good weekend. just what i needed. so glad we could celebrate J's birth. 

in the meantime... TODAY. MATH HAS TAKEN OVER MY LIFE.

that is ONE problem. ONE. PROBLEM I TELL YOU! It's not that this crap is hard--cause its not. it's just EXTREMELY time consuming. I don't have the patience for this. hence me taking a B.B. (blog break.)

but i think that is all i have to say. this week i have a FINAL in foodservice sanitation.. AHH! It shouldn't be toooo bad. hopefully.

can't believe my little Alexis is 7 years old. it really feels like she was just born. this is like... the first time i have felt old. she got this thing called a Zhu Zhu Pet. I had NO IDEA what it was. I felt soOOoo behind on the times! anyway.. luh her with everything in me. she's so freaking spoiled. but i still love you judy/ beeb/ beanie/ juicy/ alexis. :)

TODAY would is Jennica's birthday! 1-NINE. 19. crazy! she is old. 

love her so much. and i have NO IDEA where i would be without her. seriously... we have been best friends for 11 years. 2nd grade baby. can't wait to celebrate tonight!
